Got my session done before work. Nearly talked myself out of it too.
Six weeks to understand change and build what lasts.
Balance Learn helps you understand change, build better habits, and create a way of eating you can maintain. Each week turns practical behaviour-change and neuroscience principles into actions you can use through training, food and real-life review with Shannon.

One practical action
Learn it, use it, review it, then make it fit real life.
Balance Learn is a guided starting course, not a pile of information. Each week gives you a clear lesson theme, practical actions inside Balance, and one review point with Shannon.
WEEK 1Why change feels hard
Understand how your brain uses past experience, set your first Weekly Goals, and begin with a workout and meal-plan starting point you can actually use.
WEEK 2Work with your energy
Notice how sleep, stress and low-energy days change your choices. Use the app to keep the next action visible when the week is not ideal.
WEEK 3Build a rhythm that sticks
Use repetition, smaller actions and your surroundings to make training and food habits easier to return to.
WEEK 4Take the fight out of food
Learn what cravings and emotional eating may be trying to solve, then use meal support and food tracking without turning the week into a test.
WEEK 5Make progress easier to repeat
Shape the choices around you, follow your workout plan, and use your real training evidence to see what is working.
WEEK 6Build your sustainable way forward
Bring your training, food and comeback plan together. Finish the course, complete your reflection, and receive your verified Certificate of Completion.
Your weekly learning and real-world actions stay connected.
The app supports the course rather than replacing it. Course shows what to learn, Home makes the next action obvious, and your plans, Weekly Goals and Feed help you practise it during the week.

Why does change stick for some people, but not others?
I'm an exercise scientist and former gym owner. I've worked with hundreds of clients. Some changed their lives. Others struggled to make it stick. That left me wondering why. Was it really about being lazy or trying harder, or was something deeper going on?
Studying neuroscience led me to look more closely at the habits and automatic responses that shape our everyday choices. I built Balance to help people understand that “autopilot” and practise making changes in their own lives.
Balance Learn is the introductory six-week course, part one of four. It brings those ideas into your training, food and daily routines, with practical actions and support from me.
It's more than a meal plan or workout program. It's knowledge you can put to work, with guidance as you practise. The aim is to build skills you can keep using long after these six weeks.
The four-part Balance journey
Learn. Master. Become. Lead.
Start by understanding change. Build the skills to guide yourself, practise them in real life, then help someone else take their next step.
